UK Pavilion to host the unveiling of the latest low-carbon vehicle to be launched from a collaboration of members of the UK’s dynamic automotive ecosystem.

The latest in government-backed advanced low-carbon automotive technology will be unveiled on the UK Government Pavilion, stand C3-112, at Cenex-LCV and Cenex-CAM, 7 – 8 September at UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire.  2022 marks the 15th anniversary for Cenex-LCV, the UK’s longest established technology showcase and networking event for the low-carbon vehicle community.

Alongside a first public reveal of the advanced low-carbon vehicle, the UK Government Pavilion at Cenex will also set the stage for several significant industry announcements. In addition, the UK Government Pavilion provides a platform for 10 partners* to showcase game-changing technologies and demonstrate how they are working together to provide vital funding and support to grow UK innovation and economic prosperity.

Philippa Oldham, Stakeholder Engagement Director at the Advanced Propulsion Centre commented, “The 15th anniversary of Cenex-LCV and CAM has come at an exciting time as we see the UK’s low-carbon transport and mobility industries scale up production of new technologies that will help us meet our ambitious 2050 environmental targets.”

She continued, “We are also beginning to see more robust supply chains, which will enable our stakeholders to accelerate delivery of more innovative applications, driving the transition to net zero. This can be seen in the variety of technologies that will be on display at LCV and CAM 2022, which demonstrate how the UK automotive sector remains at the forefront of R&D of next generation automotive technology and makes the UK a beacon location for supply chain and manufacturing investment.”

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is the government and industry-backed body responsible for accelerating the UK industrialisation of technologies to support the transition to delivering net-zero emission vehicles. The APC provides resources and insight to accelerate the development of the electrified supply chain across technologies, UK-wide.
