Victrex Win NMCL Funding

10 Feb 2021

Victrex, an innovative world leader in high-performance polymer solutions based in Lancashire, has been successfully approved to participate in the National Manufacturing Competitiveness Levels (NMCL) programme developed by the Society of Motor Manufacturers & Traders (SMMT).  With over 40 years‘ experience, Victrex is developing solutions with PEEK and PAEK-based polymers and selected semi-finished and finished parts.  Every day, millions of people use products and applications containing Victrex materials – from smartphones, aeroplanes and cars to oil and gas operations and medical devices.

With the automotive industry  a focus for Victrex, countless applications in extremely demanding environments within vehicles are made of PEEK polymer, such as ABS system brake valves, powertrain system gears and seals or e-motor wire and slot insulation.  Thus, IATF 16949 compliance is an important factor which Victrex are delighted the NMCL programme will help drive forward to further improve operational excellence.

Congratulations!
