Family run hearse and limousine coachbuilder Wilcox Limousines have embarked on a significant competitiveness improvement project with support from the BEIS funded NMCL Automotive programme.
The Wilcox project will consist of various training and improvement activities to support business to:
• Improve competitiveness
• Raise workforce capacity
• Grow Productivity
• Boost economic growth
• Increase exports
The Funeral coachbuilder have been trading for over 70 years and is still run by family members, Deputy Managing Director Jade Wilcox said “I’m absolutely delighted to win this award, especially such a large amount. We have recently gone through lots of challenges and changes, so this will really help us to achieve our visions and continue to lead the way for the future.”
Wilcox Limousines, the UKs only Jaguar Cars approved convertor is a third generation family business with over 70 years of coachbuilding experience, has supplemented the Jaguar XJ range with a Jaguar XF based UK hearse and limousine, after the huge success of XF 3 door launch internationally. The new range includes a 5 door Hearse and matching 6 door Limousine which have been designed for the UK Market.
