Automotive Council and OLEV confirm support for LCV2012

The Automotive Council and the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) have joined the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS), Technology Strategy Board (TSB), Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) and UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) as supporting organisations for LCV2012.

Hosted by CENEX, the UK’s first centre of excellence for low carbon and fuel cell technologies, LCV2012 will showcase the capabilities of national technology providers and universities, positioning the UK as a leader in low carbon vehicle technology development and enterprise.

Taking place at Millbrook Proving Ground, Bedfordshire, on Wednesday 5 and Thursday 6 of September, the low and ultra-low carbon vehicle and technology exhibition will include:

  • A low carbon vehicle ride and drive where visitors can get behind the wheel of the latest low and ultra-low carbon vehicles.
  • A Conference and Technical Seminar Programme that will run in parallel over the two days of the event.
  • A Business Exchange where visitors have the opportunity to book meetings and interact with UK and international delegates.
